Mid-year Update (2014)

As the latter half of the year approaches, here’s a brief recollection of what has happened in the community for the past six months. For all those who miss their youth days with Corè, this is our way of saying: “Bumisita ka naman! J Alam naman namin na miss mo na ‘to.”

FEBRUARY
Love is in the air….oh wait! That’s just the smell of yummy baked goodies!
Spear-headed by the secretariat, Corè launches its first project of the year in the form of a bake sale fundraiser. Brownies and chocolate chip cookies greet mass-goers at the parish entrance as Corè members happily sell them with love. With God’s grace, we have proudly garnered a profit of P6,495 for our “para-sa-kinabukasan-ng-core” fund.

MARCH-MAY
The summer would not be complete if we don’t welcome new members to our community. Why don't we take you to a blast from the past with these slideshows showing what happened in those weekends. Shall we?

CYM Batch 83
Held last April 11-13, 2014

CYM Batch 84

Held last May 30-June 1, 2014

Feast on some insights from a few members of the most recent batches. In fact, how about a twins vs. twins action right now?

But hey, that's not all. Along with our community newbies, this summer has also given us first time parents (teen leads). What do you say we ask how their experience went?

The months in between March-June has never been this filled. As a follow up of the weekend, the secretariat, spearheaded by the social committee, has launched its new activity called the G.A. or the batch general assembly. The G.A. is a chance for the new members to reunite with their fellow batchmates and be oriented to the activities of the community. This is also the time wherein the committees are introduced and for the election of their batch representative. How about a short glimpse to the batch reps' insights for us to get a clue as to what their job entails?

Along with Corè Fairview’s weekends this summer, we are also proud to have been part of our OLAP family in welcoming their fourth batch to the Corinthian community. Good job OLAP!

JUNE

The summer fun/hangover never stops and so we end this summer with a bang. CYM launches its first summer ender party with a splashing pool affair. Hey, maybe you can even join us next summer if you missed this one!

Just because this summer has ended doesn't mean that you are too late for everything. More exciting things will come for this coming second half of the year including our very own 30th Anniversary! It will be a celebration like no other so you really wouldn't want to miss it. See you there!
